Johnnie Fields founded Peters and Fields Architects in Odessa, Texas in 1955. Ken Fields joined the firm five years later.
Peters and Fields Architects was an award winning firm producing a wide body of work including the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and the Ector County Courthouse. Chuck Fields followed in his family's profession and joined the firm in 1978.
In 1987, Fields & Associates Architects was formed in Austin, Texas to pursue the practice of architecture. Based upon the rich history of the past, Fields & Associates Architects flourished in educational, religious, and commercial design.
The firm has grown steadily and has continued to expand its presence throughout Central Texas.
