The expansion included two seperate building wings totalling 38 classrooms, one on each end of the existing school on the sharply sloping site. The new 1500 seat auditorium with full fly space, backstage support areas, and lobby entrance with monumental staircase was the anchor of the expansion fo the Fine Arts Program that also included space for orchestra, choir, drama, and dance. A two story classroom area adjacent to Fine Arts includes four (4) science labs and the home economics classroom. The classroom wing added at the west end of the existing school is three stories and included a major expansion of the cafeteria. Project Cost: $3,000,000 Completion Date: August 2000 |
